More than 2,300 companies were nominated or asked to participate in the 2018 Top Workplaces contest by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and its partner, Energage (formerly Workplace Dynamics). Employees across the metro area responded to print and online solicitations that began appearing in September.

Using survey results, a list of 150 workplaces was compiled, consisting of 25 large companies (listed below; 500 or more employees), 50 midsize companies (150-499 employees) and 75 small companies (149 or fewer employees).

Each and every one of us are working toward the same goals. We work hard and also recognize that we are all individuals who bring different strengths and challenges with us. We encourage each other to achieve through sharing our strengths and leaning into our challenges.

Everyone is focused on one goal, making a great product that changes people’s lives for the better. Everything else is cast aside. There are no politics, roadblocks or red tape, only progress toward our goal.

First and foremost, I love the people I work with. From the executives all the way down, everyone is willing to join in and help on anything. It’s also just a fun group of people. We truly like each other. I am also not only allowed to grow, but encouraged to do so. It’s also challenging work in a good way. I never feel bored or that my talent is being wasted. I love coming to work every day.

I am free to excel in my own way if I want. However, the team environment and the feeling you get from sharing success and methods is so rewarding, it’s impossible not to be involved across departments. Great product and an open environment to share ideas that are acted on.

I get to come into work every day and build a product that changes the lives of its users while working with a unified team. Every department strives for collective greatness. My teammates seem to go out of their way to make my job easier.

I get to work with the highest density of high-caliber people in my career. We prioritize winning as a team. We aren’t afraid of hard conversations. We strive to achieve something meaningful together. We have a huge market opportunity ahead of us.

I’m surrounded by humble experts of industry who are all willing to help out. No question is a bad question and most questions receive follow-up questions that provoke a thought path I had not considered.

I’ve been able to learn and grow more in my three years here than most people would at a company. I’ve been held to goals that I thought were unrealistic, but have been pushed to meet them time after time and have learned how to stretch myself in ways that I didn’t know existed.

Working with smart, motivated, passionate people who bring their A-game to work every day only makes me want to be better, too! It is invigorating to come to work with everyone on the SalesLoft team, and it is exciting to come to work each day!

The people here are amazing — really smart, with very little ego. And we’re happy to share information. This makes it easy to ask questions, take risks, and learn new things. The environment is super collaborative, throughout the company, so even across teams, people are quick to jump in to help. We’ve grown a lot, but still think very much like a start up. This gives us a best-of-both-worlds scenario, where there are still lots of interesting challenges to solve, and you can have strong impact, but you also have the people and resources to make big things happen.

This company cares about its people. There is a point every Lofter has where they become suddenly aware that “this is real” and the culture is not a gimmick or a marketing ploy. People have each other’s backs here and always want to help.
