The company behind the WallyPark airport parking facility is looking to expand its campus near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to potentially include two hotels, three restaurants and other retail space.

Los Angeles-based L&R Group of Companies is seeking various approvals for a reconfiguration of its site at Herschel Road and Camp Creek Parkway. The applicants wish to development more than 20,000 square feet of retail space, hotels with 200 total rooms, a pharmacy, gas station and 2,000 long-term parking spaces, according information in a state Development of Regional Impact filing.

Atlanta Airport Parking I and II have applied to rezone a razed apartment complex property immediately west of WallyPark, said Jahnee Price, vice president of planning and development with The Collaborative Firm, which serves as College Park’s planning department. The plan is to reconfigure the combined properties to hold the hotels, parking, retail and restaurants. The matter could come before planning commissioners for a recommendation Monday, Prince said.
