Mississippi-based Blossman Gas Inc. purchased Blue Flame Gas of Powder Springs from owners Mike and Josh Holbrook. Blue Flame workers will remain with the company, including Josh Holbrook,, who will remain in a business development capacity. Blue Flame Gas’s 2,500 propane customers will be integrated into Blossman’s current customer base of 140,000.

“This is a very exciting acquisition,” said Stuart Weidie, President and CEO of Blossman Gas. “This acquisition fits well into our strategy of acquiring quality propane companies in the eastern half of the United States.”

Blossman Propane Gas, Appliance & Service has been providing gas in 12 Southeast and Mid Atlantic state for more than 60 years. It sells more than 85 million gallons a year, and sells appliances and services.
