MARTA hiring for Police Department

MARTA will hold a job fair Saturday to interview for positions on the transit agency’s police force.

The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the MARTA’s headquarters, 2424 Piedmont Road N.E., Atlanta, GA 30324. The headquarters is located across the street from the Lindbergh Center Station.

Pay starts at $17.12 to $19.25 an hour

Applicants must be at least 21-years-old and are required to pass all tests related to the position, including a background investigation to include a criminal history records check, polygraph examination and a credit check.

Applicants must also pass a physical examination, including drug/alcohol screening and psychological testing, and must possess a valid drivers’ license.
