"The only thing that can change everything for your hair is WEN," says the hair care system's website. At least 200 women say that's true ... but not in a good way.

In a class action lawsuit against WEN by Chaz Dean and the infomercial marketing company Guthy-Renker, hundreds of women are claiming that the popular hair products caused them to go bald, caused rashes, and irritated their scalps.

According to the WEN website, the 5-in-1 hair care treatment was created by celebrity hair stylist Chaz Dean. It's chemical and sulfate-free formula containing "natural botanicals, herbs and extracts" and claims to take the place of shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler and leave-in conditioner.

Negative reviews and photos of women losing their hair have filled WEN's Facebook page.

"My hair has been falling out in handfuls since using WEN," Bonnie Perry commented on the social media page.

"I have always had full thick hair and I noticed over the last year, since using WEN, my hair has been thinning and I even have a few small bald spots," claims Samantha Rutter.

Others say they've been using the product for years and have had no issues.

Monica Thejewelrylady Rosie writes, "Been using it for years and haven't had any problems.. LOVE Wen. So sorry for those ladies who are losing hair."

A spokesperson for WEN says there is no scientific evidence to support any claim that their hair care products caused anyone to lose their hair.
