1. A.G. Rhodes Health and Rehab

A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab is one of Atlanta's oldest nonprofits and leaders in senior care. Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) is a national network of hospitals that serve adult patients who are fighting cancer. 4. Jewish Home Life Communities

What began as The William Breman Jewish Home in 1951 has grown to become Jewish Home Life Communities, a system of life care communities and services. 6. Northeast Georgia Health System

Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is a not-for-profit community health system based in Hall County. With a medical staff of more than 600 physicians representing more than 50 specialties, NGHS serves people throughout the region. "As hard as we work, we also find time to laugh," one employee wrote. "I get to work with great people." It shows, with NGHS earning a spot on the AJC's Top Workplace list every year since 2011.

7. Piedmont Healthcare

1968 Peachtree St NW, Atlanta.

For more than 100 years, Piedmont Healthcare has been recognized for its quality of care and innovative treatments. The six-hospital system served nearly 2 million patients last year, including performing more than 44,000 surgeries. But employees still believe in personalized care. One wrote, "Everyone is positive, and our main concern is to ensure that each of our patients receive great care."

8. Resurgens Orthopaedics

Alpharetta, Atlanta, Marietta, Roswell locations.

Resurgens is Georgia's largest orthopedic practice, with 21 offices and six surgery centers throughout greater Atlanta. 9. Southern Crescent Women's Healthcare

For more than 20 years, Southern Crescent Women's Healthcare has provided obstetrical and gynecological care to women of all ages on Atlanta's south side.
