Companies throughout the metro Atlanta area are ramping up hiring this May, so if you're looking for a new job, now may be the time to succeed. In addition to salary and benefits, some also offer perks like free admission to Six Flags or a signing bonus of up to $3,000.

Pandora

The music streaming service Pandora is expanding its presence in Atlanta by creating 250 jobs over the next three years. Many positions are already open, including those for staff systems engineers, sales representatives, contracts managers and technical programs managers. Click here to see available positions and to apply online.

Six Flags Over Georgia

Six Flags is holding a hiring day on May 12, and although walk-ins are welcome, applying online ahead of time is encouraged so you can pre-schedule an interview. You'll need to be at least 16 to apply, and perks include free park admission, health benefits, reward programs and private employee events.

Kaiser Permanente

Health care giant Kaiser Permanente is hiring, and the company currently has 156 jobs open in Atlanta. Open positions include those for a hearing aid tech, IT project manager, pediatrics nurse, intake review coordinator and administrative assistant for pharmacy operations. Applicants will need to pass a background check and drug screen and can look for openings and apply online.

MARTA police

MARTA police are beefing up their ranks and paying bonuses for successful applicants. Pay starts at $37,772, and signing bonuses are $3,000 for Georgia-certified officers and $1,000 for non-certified personnel. Among other qualifications, you'll need to either have completed at least two years of college, one term of honorable military service, completion of a pre-service academy, or two years as a POST certified peace officer, corrections officer or jailer.

Boston Scientific

Boston Scientific is expected to make big hires in May. The company develops, manufactures and markets medical devices and has openings in both its Atlanta and Alpharetta locations. Openings include positions for pathologists, field clinical representatives, IT systems analysts and customer engagement liaisons. If you're interested, you can check for openings and apply online.
