COVID-19 has caused a huge increase in unemployment claims, but there are still some companies adding employees to its ranks.
Check out these companies that are making big hires in metro Atlanta this May:

SavaSeniorCare
SavaSeniorCare has independently operated health care and rehabilitation centers across the country including in Decatur, Marietta and other metro Atlanta locations. They're currently hiring for a variety of openings, including receptionists, accountants, unit coordinators, physical therapy assistants and wound care registered nurses.

Instacart
With more and more people using grocery delivery services during the COVID-19 pandemic, it's no surprise that Instacart is hiring. Sign up to apply to be an in-store shopper or a full-service shopper who also delivers.
You'll also find job openings in Instacart's Ponce City Market office, including positions for a care director, senior decision scientist, care agent and process improvement analyst.
Kroger
Kroger has plenty of job openings at its many locations throughout the metro Atlanta area. Visit the grocer's website to find stores in your area and select an opening from options such as grocery clerk, retail clerk, pharmacy technician, e-commerce clerk and more.
The company provides perks such as retirement and health care benefits and tuition reimbursement and scholarships for associates at all levels.

Lowe’s
Lowe's home improvement store is hiring for a variety of positions throughout its metro Atlanta locations, including openings for merchandising service associates, head cashiers, delivery coordinators and appliance sales specialists.
After searching for jobs online, you can apply for the ones you’re interested in. If you start as a seasonal employee, the company says about half stay on for full-time or part-time positions.
