These Atlanta companies are making big hires this March

If you're looking to start spring with a new job in metro Atlanta, you're in luck! From seasonal employment to year-round positions, companies are ready to fill a variety of openings, ranging from baseball field groundskeepers to caregivers.

Check out a few of the local companies making big hires this March:

Gwinnett Stripers

Baseball season is a little more than a month away, and the Gwinnett Stripers (formerly the Gwinnett Braves) are hiring employees for the team's first season under its new name.

They're looking for grounds crew members, bat boys and other employees to work from April to September.

Verizon Amphitheatre

If you'd like to work in a live music venue, Verizon Amphitheatre gives you the chance to be around the excitement in a variety of seasonal positions. You can apply for jobs in security and event staff, guest services, ticket takers, box office, maintenance/cleaning crew, parking or concessions.

The Amphitheatre is hosting job fairs on March 4 from 2-5 p.m. and on March 18 from 2-6 p.m. Bring your driver's license or government-issued photo ID and your Social Security card or birth certificate, and park in Lot C (11450 Maxwell Road, Alpharetta).

Sandy Springs Place

Sandy Springs Place, a senior living community, is ramping up hiring in March. They're looking for caregivers/residential care providers, certified nursing assistants, medication technicians and dining staff. Full-time and part-time positions are available, and you'll need to pass a background check.

A job fair is planned on March 6 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and you can RSVP for the address and more information.

Goodwill of North Georgia

If you're looking for a retail position, Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring store associates at its Holcomb Bridge Road store location.

The store is hosting a job fair on March 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 8560 Holcomb Bridge Road, Alpharetta. Dress in business casual attire and bring copies of your resume.
