You have to make it to No. 6 on the Bureau of Labor Statistic's top 20 fastest-growing occupations list before you see one that pays more than $80,000. But nine jobs are "double delights" — jobs that will be increasingly plentiful between 2018-2028 that also pay good money.
The BLS list starts with the job that will grow the most (solar photovoltaic installer). Within the list of fastest-growing jobs, these eight had the highest potential salaries; each pulls in at least $80,000 per year.

While the anticipated growth in all the job fields listed is impressive, some will create more actual jobs than others. Operations research analysts, for example, number 114,000, so a 27% increase there would net 30,780 new positions for nationwide job boards and recruiters.
Genetic counselors, though, only numbered 3,100 in 2018, so a 29% job outlook growth would just increase the nation's job openings by about 1,000.
