Delta Air Lines released its annual corporate responsibility report Monday, saying it recycled more than 2.3 million pounds of waste last year through its recycling program.

Delta also said it was the first major airline to sign a tourism code of conduct from ECPAT International, a network that aims to end child prostitution, child pornography and trafficking of children for sexual purposes.

Separately, Delta has been retiring older jets and removing some of its least fuel-efficient regional jets and turboprops from its fleet to adjust to higher fuel costs. That reduces Delta's jet fuel consumption and saves money, but Delta said the moves also support its "commitment to reduce greenhouse gases."
