Delta leads airlines in on-time Atlanta airport arrivals

Carrier tops rivals in April 2016 report

Seeing as how Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is Delta's main hub, it makes sense that Atlanta's hometown airline should top the competition when it comes to on-time arrivals here, right?

Fair enough. But Delta is also besting its rivals in on-time arrival percentage at their home hubs, too. Delta flights arriving at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport had a 90.5 on-time arrival percent -- at American Airlines' home hub. And American's home on-time arrival percentage? It was a relatively measly 83.4 percent, with Alaska Airlines and JetBlue beating them with on-time arrival percentages of 87.5 and 84.3 percents respectively.

Here's a look at how the domestic U.S. carriers ranked with regard to on-time arrival percentage for the Atlanta airport in the latest Air Travel Consumer Report, which shows data from April 2016. (The report itself was released June 2016.)
