Delta Air Lines is discontinuing its flights from the United States to Mumbai amid weak demand.

Atlanta-based Delta had previously said it would shift the Mumbai flights from Atlanta to New York, but now says it will suspend the U.S.-Mumbai service altogether. The Atlanta-Mumbai flights will end Oct. 21.

Delta said it will re-accommodate customers onto its flights from Amsterdam to Mumbai or via Paris on its partner, Air France.
