Atlanta Bread Company has remodeled about a third of its 105 units. The chain is replacing an old look, called "black and gold, " that featured wood chairs and benches and open cafeteria style seating. The new look has more comfortable seating, softer green and red earth-tones and partitions that create smaller seating sections. The company hopes the remodeled stores invite people to linger during normally slow times, such as mid-morning and afternoon.
