Starcasm chronicled what supposed party planner Anthony Shorter had to say following his clash with Sheree Whitfield from episode one. He called in to explain himself during the "Watch What Happens Live" post show featuring Sheree.
Here’s a segment:
Anthony: Well you know what? I've worked in the entertainment industry for over twenty years and when you work in the entertainment industry you work with a variety of different personalities. So, you do have Sheree-type personalities in the entertainment industry, I just never met a personality that was just so dominating and lacked so much gratitude for an event that was being planned for free.
Host: Well, I mean, is this how a top level executive behaves?
Anthony: When you're being given an event for free and the cost is approximately $60,000 and you're not grateful and you are resentful and you're mean toward the staff and the people who are throwing this event for you, you get to tend to be frustrated and I think that that's actually what happened, because you know we were sponsoring this event for her and we were frustrated by the type of behavior and attitude that we were receiving from her.
Your take on the party planner Sheree argued with during episode one
- The man is totally out of his mind
- He went ballistic simply for the cameras
- He's a plant, not for real at all
- Sheree had it coming

This begs the question. Why did he offer to do it for free? Just for the promotion? Not good promotion if he plans to stay in this business. Various reporters here have fished around and nobody in Atlanta seems to know who he is. Is he some sort of plant Bravo brought in? Anybody know the man? Email me at rho@ajc.com.
Rachelle Savoia, who does publicity for the show at Bravo, said Sheree found Shorter and the show had nothing to do with getting him. Plus, she had no contact info for him and is not setting up interviews on his behalf.
Sheree, in an interview with Marc Malkin, glorified in how much attention the fight drew on Twitter.
She added, "I think there are opportunists out there who want to get their name out there. He thinks he's going to benefit from it, but to me, you look like a fool. You look like an ass on TV. Who wants to be remembered like that?"
A reader at 1:30 p.m. today sent me this anecdote about Anthony, which is quite amusing:
He varies his accent depending on who he talks to…very chameleon-like. I didn't think much about it until I saw the episode where he turned his imagined talents toward party planning. No clue how he got on the show.
