Hutchins, who came to CBS46 in 2007, joined Gurvir Dhindsa as co-anchor in the morning from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Steve Doerr, news director, said this isn't necessarily a permanent move.

“We have multiple major league anchors and are taking a look at some different combinations. We'll see where it lands,” he wrote in an email last week.

CBS46 recently added former CNN Headline News and MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts as an evening anchor, replacing Ben Swann.  He works largely with Sharon Reed, the primary female evening anchor.

In other CBS46 news, the station's latest weekend meteorologist is Molly McCollum, who joined the station in May. She previously worked in Wichita and Tulsa.
