ABC is still reeling from last week’s mess regarding the end of “Roseanne,” its most successful show that is no more.

Producers and ABC executives are trying to salvage what they can and there are talks of spinoffs without Roseanne Barr. Barr, who made a Tweet last week about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett comparing her to an ape that led to an abrupt end of the show, was an executive producer. It's clear ABC would like her not to be involved in any way so there are legal issues that probably trump any creative ones.

Nothing has been finalized but speculation is rife about what will happen next - if anything. Hollywood Reporter says there will be meetings this week to discuss ideas. TMZ, citing unnamed sources, said Sara Gilbert is open to a show centered around her character Darlene.
