Should Maya have left the show?

  • Sure. It's her decision if it's too much
  • Never. She should have toughed it out
  • Doesn't matter. Didn't think she would win anyway

All I feel is shock and awe at last night’s “Project Runway.” Where do I begin? Or better yet, where do I end?

As we encountered the eerily quiet apartments and workroom, I was still reeling over the loss of Atlanta resident Anthony last week. We soon find out the challenge is to design a red carpet look for a "difficult" celebrity. How anti-climatic to find that it's Heidi Klum − again.

Then completely out of left field Maya decides to quit because she's not ready. WTH? I'm almost livid because she threw away an opportunity that so many others worked for. This is the real world and being a quitter doesn't cut it.

So to get us back to six designers someone has to come back … and it’s Anthony!!!!

“Ms. Thing is back,” Heidi affectionately points out later.

But wait, Tim Gunn calls Seth Aaron outside to speak. We find out that his model has been hired by Donna Karan so now she's gone. My head is clearly spinning at this point. But it's not quite over yet.

The final looks were shocking, too. A lot of hot mess sashayed down the runway. But we ended up with even more surprises. Whew!

BEST

Emilio and Anthony wow the judges so much that they both win. Emilio's sequined gown was impeccably structured. The burnt gold shimmered in the flawless fit. Anthony's black-and-white gown was stunning. The movement was highlighted by a flirty split and classic Hollywood glamour. Ultimately Heidi chose Emilio's gown (though she probably won't be able to eat for two weeks just to fit into it), and guest judge Jessica Alba claimed Anthony's.

Seth Aaron came in third with his floor-length gown in all black (shocker). But the judges were seeking a "wow" factor and were unimpressed by his focus on himself.

WORST

Jonathon: His short, jersey looking drape was just atrocious. Too short. Too rushed. Too sloppy. He was auf'd.

Jay: His "360″ experience landed him in the bottom two. The short silver frock was beautifully done but the ruffles gave the hip/butt area too much volume.

Mila: Her short sheath with gold tones was too simple and unflattering to the bust line. It's never good when Nina says it "looks like something 'Housewives of New Jersey' would wear."

ANTHONY SAID …

  • "Who wouldn't want Anthony back. Hell, I like him. You should like him too."
  • "I am an ambassdor … of second chances."
  • "This time around, the one person I need to impress is myself."
  • "Life is very interesting right now."

Reworking his dress

  • "Girl, any time."

Telling Jessica Alba she could wear his design
