Marietta's Melanie Moore cruises into finals of 'So You Think You Can Dance'

Marietta's Melanie Moore cruised into the finals of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" and is considered a favorite to take home the entire crown, which also includes a nifty $250,000 prize.

Judge and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, who has been praising Moore to high heaven all season, said Thursday night that  she "dances with her heart."

Moore, with an infectious smile and fine technical and interpretive skills, will be joined by fierce dancer Sasha Mallory, Moore's early dance partner Marko Germar and b-boy Tadd Gadduang.

No surprise with the two departures: Ricky Jaime and Caitlynn Lawson, who was Atlanta's Mitchell Kelly's partner during the earlier portion of the live competition.

Until this season, not a single metro Atlantan had made the finals but this year, we had two in the top 10: Kelly and Moore.
