The Vivid Mimi/Nikko sex tape finally comes out - at least on the 12th episode "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta."

At the time it was released in April, it was a true Web sensation, selling plenty of copies while millions tried to watch clips of it for free. Given that Mimi had sex while hanging on a super strong shower rod, shower rod sales supposedly shot through the roof.

(I wrote about the tape's release in April and received a whopping 833,000 page views, by far the most I've ever received for a single story though I suspect a lot of people who accessed my story were looking for the actual sex tape itself and were suitably disappointed.)

Nikko Smith, of course, is thrilled by how it's "trending" and how much money they're going to make. Mimi Faust continues to feel more embarrassed than proud. They decide to do an exclusive interview with an outlet called VladTV. I've never heard of it but the interview is here.

Vlad says it looks like a third person was there, that a camera man taped it, implying it was professionally done, not some amateur sex tape as the couple claims. Nikko and Mimi deny anyone was there. Nikko says the movement on the screen was there because they had literally "shook the room." He gives an impish grin.

Other women on the show watch the video. Joseline mocks it with glee. Erica, Scrappy's ex, is appalled. She thinks it's professionally done and is particularly peeved since Mimi has a kid.

In other story lines:

Sorry 2014: Kirk Frost, as suggested by his wife Rasheeda's mom, holds an apology party. A huge sign "I'm sorry" dominates the backyard. Singer Bobby V, the man who was there when Kirk cheated on Rasheeda, sings.

The vibe is good. Kirk even gives Rasheeda's mom new glasses after breaking them in a previous episode as revenge for her running over his motorcycle last season.

Rasheeda forgives him since his apology seems duly sincere. "I appreciate the effort," she says. Even Benzino comes up and says he's "guilty by association" because he invited Kirk to the mountain home where the cheating happened.

To top it off, Kirk gives her a new car. She is quite pleased to say the least.

Althea, Benzino's fiance who slept with Stevie J and Nikko, apologizes for getting into Karlie and Erica's faces at the opening of Sleazy & Benzino's bar in February. But Erica refuses to apologize for her part in the argument so Althea gets peeved over that. Benzino takes her away. Benzino is annoyed that she gets so upset so quickly.

Momma Dee meets with her son Scrappy to clean up the mess he created with Erica Pinkett last week. "I feel like I failed him," she said.

Scrappy is resistant at first. "You should have just left it alone," he says. Then he softens up, admits he was "immature" and decides to apologize to Erica. Erica is very emotional, expressing how she loves him and his "potential" and finds it hard to just be friends with him. He owns up that he had crossed the line with her with his texts and he needs to be fairer to her since they are just "friends." He apologizes but it doesn't appear like he's ready to jump into bed with her. He's still connected with Bambi.

Joseline is sick of Stevie J's shenanigans for the 58th time. This time, she leaves town and visits former "Love and Hip Hop" member K. Michelle in New York. In front of Stevie J, she even rips up the Hip Hop Weekly cover where they announced their "marriage." (Props!) Again, he denies he slept with Althea which Joseline does not believe.

Naturally, they argue and will inevitably get back together for the 59th time sometime soon.

Storylines ignored this week: Karlie Redd and Yung Joc, the newly betrothed Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka Flame and Kalenna Harper and her husband Tony.

NEXT WEEK

More fallout from the sex tape. Kaleena announces she's pregnant. Scrappy gives Bambi an engagement ring, much to Momma Dee's chagrin
