Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are going to be in Atlanta soon to shoot at least part of "Bad Boys III," which is currently titled "Bad Boys For Life."

The movie is currently in pre-production, according to the Georgia film office. It's set to shoot from November through February. Some reports say part of the film will be shot in Miami as well.

The original “Bad Boys” in 1995 was a hit, generating $65.8 million in domestic box office revenue. The sequel “Bad Boys II” in 2003 more than doubled that take, finishing at $138.6 million.

The sequel has been in the works for awhile. Sony announced two "Bad Boys" sequels in 2015 but there have been obvious delays. Michael Bay directed the first two.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will be handling this second sequel. It's set to come out in early 2020.

Although Smith had a cameo in “Anchorman 2,” shot in Atlanta, this will be the first time he will shoot a film where he plays a major part in this area.
