Atlanta actress Keshia Knight Pulliam had her first daughter Ella Grace, she reported on Instagram Monday.
The 37 year old is estranged from her 38-year-old husband Ed Hartwell, a former NFL player and ex husband of Lisa Wu, former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" castmate.
She made the pregnancy announcement in July. Soon after, he filed for divorce after just a few months of being married. The two sides then began slamming each other via social media and in legal documents. For instance, at one point, Knight Pulliam accused Hartwell in legal papers of causing her stress to create a miscarriage.
Knight Pulliam, best known for her role as Rudy on "The Cosby Show," tried to be kinder about Hartwell with ET over the summer:
"There's a baby in the middle of this!" she told ET. "And regardless, if we don't want to be married, that's fine, because we agree on that. But this baby is what's important, and I feel like that's being lost."
Hartwell told Page Six TV that their their marriage was torn asunder by jealousy, disagreements about starting a family and suspicions about infidelity on both sides.
She later accused Hartwell of not making mandatory support payments but TMZ in November said he did pay in full.
They met in 2015 and then got engaged and married quickly. Maybe too quickly.
UPDATE on Wednesday, January 25: Page Six of the New York Post said Hartwell found out about his baby the same time as the public. She didn't bother to tell him herself. Nice. Honestly, he has said he isn't even sure if the baby is his and I have not heard if a paternity test has been done.
