A former employee of Kandi Burruss has settled a court case he filed in 2016 alleging unpaid overtime pay, according to documentation received by StraightFromtheA.com.

Johnnie Winston III filed his lawsuit in October, 2016. His claims were featured during season 9 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." On camera, now former cast-mate Phaedra Parks hooked Winston up with an attorney regarding the case in what Burruss later viewed as deeply shady.

The terms of the agreement were not released though it's likely that Burruss paid Winston to keep his mouth shut. A judge gave her permission to keep the contents of the settlement confidential, which is not unusual. The filing said "if the files are disclosed they are likely to become a vehicle for improper purposes, such as the use of records to gratify personal spite, promote public scandal, circulate libelous statements or release trade secrets."
