FXX's sturdy "Archer," animated in Atlanta by Floyd County Productions, has been rewarded an 11th season.

This follows three nutty seasons that included visits to a tropical island during World War II and outer space that were supposedly a wild Archer fever dream.

"We are incredibly excited for our 11th season and look forward to Archer waking up from his coma and returning to a spy world that has continued without him for the past three years," said executive producer Casey Willis in a press release.

The news came out during Comic Con in San Diego.

Season 10 has two more episodes left. The next one, airing Wednesday, July 24 at 10 p.m. involves Archer convinced a mysterious object is causing the crew to act strangely.

The show is the second longest-running TV program shot in metro Atlanta, going back to 2009. The only program that has aired longer is Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” which debuted in the fall of 2008 and is currently producing its 12th season.
