The creator of NBC's 'Constantine," cancelled after one season, sought a new home but couldn't find one.

Daniel Cerone, showrunner for the drama, confirmed he couldn't convince any other network to pick up the DC Comics "Hellblazer" adaptation.  It was shot and set in Atlanta, as you can see in the photo above.

"I promised I'd share news when I had it — sadly, that news is not good," he posted on Twitter. "The cast and writers of  'Constantine' are being released from their contracts. The studio tried to find a new home for the show, for which we're forever grateful, but those efforts didn't pan out. I'm sorry, I wasn't provided any information on the attempts to sell the show elsewhere. All I can report is that the show is over."

Ratings for the show on Friday nights were not great but not the worst either, relatively speaking. Overnight ratings averaged around 3 million viewers. NBC had it on the fence for awhile but decided not to pick it up in the end.

The latest Atlanta-based reality program is "Home Free," a Fox reality competition series where do-it-yourself couples must live in a broken-down home and fix it up. The winner gets to live in it, I presume. Or something like that.

The show, created by the man who did "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" was based and shot in Atlanta and is hosted by Mike Holmes.

TMZ reports that Vivid Entertainment, which provided "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" cast mate Mimi Faust a home for her wildly popular adult video, is offering fellow castmate Karlie Redd a deal to do an adult movie as well. Redd, TMZ said, is pondering it. She sure needs to. She has never been able to get a terribly compelling storyline on the show over four seasons, yet she is still there.
