The City of Atlanta opened a warming center Tuesday afternoon at the Old Adamsville Recreation Center to give those in need a warm shelter.

The Center, located at 3404 Delmar Lane, can house up to 100 people and will remain open until 10 a.m., the City said. The emergency shelter will remain open as needed each night.
