BY MELISSA RUGGIERI

Late Monday morning, semi trucks navigated the narrow roads around Bobby Dodd Way and workers tried not to wilt in the heat as the setup continued for The Rolling Stones’ arrival at Bobby Dodd Stadium Tuesday night.

Some tickets remain for the concert – the first held at the Georgia Tech venue in 20 years and the second performance there by the Stones – with prices in the $69.50-$395 range. The stadium setup will accommodate about 42,000 fans.

If you don't want to miss out on Mick and the boys – and really, how much longer can they keep at this touring thing? – visit www.ticketalternative.com or call 1-877-725-8849.

Now, if you're already set to rock 'n' roll and like it on Tuesday, a few reminders about the always-fun ancillary necessities when concert-going, such as parking, entry points, road closures and concessions. Also,  @GTRollingStones  will provide updated information before, during and after concert.

  • Concert parking lots will open – as will the all-important, fork-over-40-bucks-for-a-T-shirt merch stands outside – at 5 p.m. Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. The Stones' chosen openers for Atlanta, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, will take the stage at 8 p.m. In previous stops on the tour, The Rolling Stones have hit the stage between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m.

  • These roads will be closed: Techwood Drive, Brittain Drive, Fowler (between 5th and Bobby Dodd Way) and Bobby Dodd Way. Vehicles without a valid parking permit will not be permitted access closer to the stadium.
  • Pickup shuttles for ADA parking will be at each end of Ferst Drive ( here is the shuttle map ). The drop off location and post-game pickup will be on North Avenue at Gate 1.
  • Attendees are encouraged to ride MARTA (North Avenue station) or use ride-sharing services, as parking is limited. MARTA service ends around 1:15 a.m. Pick up and drop off for cab or car services will be along West Peachtree Street (access to Bobby Dodd Stadium is through the Third Street tunnel).
  • All gates do not allow access to entire stadium. Fans should enter the stadium only at the gate specified below according to ticketed section. Those with field tickets will receive wristbands when entering through the field-level tunnel on Callaway Plaza (North End Zone).

*Field Tunnel entrance is off Callaway Plaza on Bobby Dodd

  • If your seats are on the field, a heads-up that those concession stands will not accept debit or credit cards.
  • Yes, adult beverages will be sold. Here is the official word on alcohol consumption: Campus Alcohol Policy  permits the use of alcoholic beverages at tailgate parties or picnic activities only on the day of the event and in the general proximity of the event, including outdoor locations or in outdoor parking areas. In accordance with the alcoholic beverage laws of the State of Georgia, individuals must be at least 21 years old to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Umbrellas are not allowed in the stadium. Sorry, stadium policy. Here is the lis t of other permitted and prohibited items.
  • Oh, and if you're interested to read what the band's keyboardist Chuck Leavell had to say about all things Stones, check out our recent interview . Make sure to visit The Music Scene blog on Wednesday for a recap of the show and follow me on Facebook and Twitter.
