Atlanta metal vets Mastodon -- who played a triumphant set at the Shaky Knees Festival to an enthusiastic hometown crowd in May -- are getting exposure of a whole new variety after three of the band's four members guest starred on Sunday night's episode of the hit HBO show "Game of Thrones."

Brann Dailor, Bill Kelliher, and Brent Hinds portrayed "wildings" in the episode, and the band also contributed the song "White Walker" to the album "Catch the Throne:  Mixtape Vol. 2," songs inspired by the show.

The group posted a photo of themselves in costume along with actors from the show -- including Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow -- on their Instagram account.
