Last year, Jill Scott vigorously defended Bill Cosby via her Twitter account.

But now, after the release of 2005 court documents where the embattled comedy legend admitted to obtaining Quaaludes for the purpose of giving them to women, the soul singer has changed her tune.

“About Bill Cosby. Sadly his own testimony offers PROOF of terrible deeds, which is ALL I have ever required to believe the accusations,” Scott wrote on Twitter.

“We live in America. Many African American men are detained &/or imprisoned for crimes without evidence. I will never jump on bandwagons based on social media or hearsay. Proof will always matter more than public opinion. The sworn testimony is proof. Completely disgusted,” she continued.

When Cosby was first accused of sexual assault, Scott deflected criticism lobbed at her for defending him on social media.

“I’m respecting a man who has done more for the image of Brown people that almost anyone EVER. From Fat Albert to the Huxtables,” she wrote at the time on Twitter.

On Monday, her tweets offered a different perspective.

“I stood by a man I respected and loved. I was wrong. It HURTS!!! When you get it ALL right, holla.”

Scott, releases her new album, "Woman," on July 24, and will perform at Chastain Park Amphitheatre on Aug. 2
