As a tie-in with the upcoming holiday rom-com, “Last Christmas,” SiriusXM will launch George Michael Radio at noon Nov. 1.

The limited-run channel (68) will feature music from Michael’s solo career as well as the Wham! catalog.

The film, "Last Christmas," which opens Nov. 8, was co-written by Emma Thompson, who was inspired by the lyrics in the glossy 1984 Christmas lament (the movie also spotlights other Michael songs). The song was originally released as a double A-side single with "Everything She Wants" and hit No. 1 in numerous countries – but not the U.S., where it was never officially released as a single.

However, the warm confection of a song has become an annual favorite here. It is 10th on the SoundScan list of best-selling Christmas/holiday digital singles and, following the death of Michael in 2017, finally charted in the U.S. – hitting No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100.

George Michael Radio will also showcase interviews and stories from the stars of “Last Christmas” (Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding, Thompson) and director Paul Feig.
