[Congrats to randomly selected winners Ritu S. and Kassie D.!]
BY MELISSA RUGGIERI/AJC Music Scene
Vanessa Carlton will always be associated with her breakout 2002 hit, "A Thousand Miles," and its sweetly chiming piano riff.
But in the ensuing 15 years, she’s remained a steady presence.
In 2015 she brought her lush piano pop to a fifth studio album, “Liberman” (named for her late grandfather), which yielded a live follow-up the following year.
Last month, Carlton released another live album, "Earlier Things Live," on her own label and on Saturday, she'll perform at City Winery .
Thanks to the generous folks there, I have two pairs of tickets to Carlton’s sold-out show, which begins at 8 p.m. with opener Tristen.
To enter:
Email me at mruggieri@ajc.com by 6 p.m. Thursday, March 16. Please do not enter if you cannot attend and please, only one entry per email address.
You must put “Vanessa Carlton tickets” in the subject line or I will not see your email and you will have absolutely no chance of winning.
I will randomly select — and contact — two winners the evening of March 16. I will also post the winning names here once I’ve received confirmation.
While this isn't a requirement, I would really appreciate a follow on Twitter or Facebook .
Good luck!
