Time for another Atlanta venue name change.

Last year, Chastain Park Amphitheatre received its first-ever naming rights sponsor and became State Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park.

But, before we could get completely comfortable typing and saying that name, it’s changing again.

A merger between Atlanta's State Bank and Houston-based Cadence Bank means that Cadence Bank will assume the multi-year naming rights agreement with Live Nation and the venue will be known as Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park.

Several shows at the 7,000-capacity amphitheater have already been announced for the 2019 season, including Whitesnake (April 20); The 1975 (May 18); Billie Eilish (June 23); and Mark Knopfler (Sept. 4).
