The BTS “Map of the Soul” tour, scheduled to launch April 25-26 in California, is postponed.
The massively popular K-pop band had a May 17 date penciled in for Bobby Dodd Stadium at Georgia Tech, but, it, along with the rest of the group's North American dates, is now on hold.
Patrons have been told to hang on to previously purchased tickets, as rescheduled dates will be “announced soon,” according to a note on Ticketmaster.com.
The stadium concert would have been BTS’ first Atlanta appearance since an appearance at Center Stage in 2015.
In the meantime, fans can absorb a dose of the group and also learn Korean. BTS is hosting 30 language lessons on the social media app, Weverse. Each episode runs for three minutes and comes with a lesson plan developed by researchers at the Korean Language Content Institute and Professor Heo Yong of the Department of Korean Education at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
