The Atlanta Jazz Festival will commandeer Piedmont Park for its annual blast of sultry, soulful music during Memorial Day weekend.
The free event, May 25-26, will feature headlining performances from Lizz Wright and The Royal Krunk Jazz Orkestra, along with sets from Marcus Strickland 'Twi-Life' featuring Pharoahe Monche, Richard Bona, Makaya McCraven, Rhonda Thomas, Kandace Springs and Michael Mayo, among many others.
As well, the annual 31 Days of Jazz will take place May 1-31 at outposts around the city, including Atlantic Station and Marta stations. Click here for a list of locations.
