In his first substantive comments about a former staffer's allegations of sexual assault, Joe Biden used an interivew on MSNBC today deny the charges lodged by his former Senate staffer Tara Reade.

"This never happened," the former Vice President said on the MSNBC program "Morning Joe."

Speaking from the basement of his home in Wilmington, Delaware, where he has been sequestered during the Coronavirus outbreak, the presumptive Democratic nominee for President in 2020 denied any wrongdoing.

"I don't remember any complaint having been made," said Biden.
