GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Joel Ingram, Washington County

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "Our 2013 game on the road at Lovett. We had five turnovers and overcame a two-touchdown deficit to win in overtime. They went 14-1 that year and won the AA state title." [Washington County won 36-33. Washington County lost to Buford that season in the AAA final.]

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "Roger Homes, Dublin. He has a knack for getting the best out of his players, year in and year out. Fundamentally, he is a superior teacher as well."

3. What is your pet peeve as a coach? "My pet peeve is parents that base all of their child's worth on what type of football player they are. They groan or complain about playing time and then can't handle it when you are forced to be brutally honest. I don't like being put in that situation because I coach a good many kids that can't play dead in a cowboy movie. Yet they are good, dedicated young men. I'll always have a spot for them, and they mean more to me as people first, football players second."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I'd like to see the GHSA revisit the contact rule a little bit. I think all coaches are willing to be more cautious. But the rules are set up to where it's hard to improve execution."
