Major road construction in Cumberland Mall area getting under way

Drivers should get ready to encounter major delays this spring as numerous road construction projects are beginning in the Cobb Galleria and Cumberland Mall areas, near the junction of I-75 and I-285.

More than 20 projects will soon get underway in the Cumberland Community Improvement District, a self-taxing business district. All the projects will take place within a three-mile area, from Terrell Mill Road to the Chattahoochee River on Cobb Parkway.
