So .. where do all the super-hero stars like to hang out in Atlanta when they have a little downtime?
This sleek sushi spot in Buckhead is a favorite among visiting and resident diners of note. (Falcons QB Matt Ryan says it's his and wife Sarah's favorite date-nite spot). It's a go-to spot for Captain America and the Black Widow, too. Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson dined there not long ago and feasted on crispy rice, avocado salad, shimaaji aburi, otoro tartare, a spicy tuna box and an Umi steak. Johansson sipped a margarita and Evans chose Jameson Irish Whiskey.
Robert Downey Jr., aka Iron Man, showed up for lunch there and posed for this nice photo . The iconic spot on Piedmont turns 30 this year and draws a steady stream of prominent guests. Ryan Gosling stopped in when he was here in 2014 filming "The Nice Guys." Now that he's headed back for "First Man," maybe he'll plan a return visit.

Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon, has been a fan of this beloved meat-and-three destination for years. "When my brother graduated from Georgia Tech 15 years ago he had his graduation party at Mary Mac's (Tea Room) and I've been going back ever since," he told us during an interview once. You can also spot him at Bar Taco, by the way. "I love Atlanta."
Mark Ruffalo, who bulks up as The Hulk on the job, headlined the ATL100 event at the Plaza recently. The city-wide campaign highlights efforts to embrace renewable energy solutions. "We can do amazing things. We have the technology to do it," he said that night. The wind is in our sails economically, and it just takes us going out to the world and telling everybody the good news. We don't need fossil fuels anymore."
"Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn and actor Michael Rooker hit the Plaza during an Atlanta Film Festival event once, but things got a little testy when a fan asked an impertinent question.

OK so maybe that was more of a one-off, but Chris Pratt popped by to check out the civic group's beer and wine festival
Pratt visited some young folks on the road to recovery while he was in town. So did Spidey star Tom Holland.
