Michael Strahan is leaving "Live" to focus on "Good Morning America"

"I look forward to continuing to work with the incredible team at GMA. It is an exciting opportunity to be able to bring unique stories and voices to the audience," said Strahan in a statement to THR. He leaves this summer and ABC will start a search to replace Strahan - who in 2012 was selected as heir to host Regis Philbin's seat.
