When Lil Wayne and Toya Wright teamed up for a 16th birthday bash for their daughter Reginae Carter the teen figured there might be a swank gift or two coming her way. Still, the new wheels were a surprise.

"The most exciting part was getting my cars: I got a Ferrari and a BMW X4," Reginae said. "That’s what I asked for but I didn't know they were going to get it for me so that was surprising. I can't really drive the Ferrari. I drive the Beemer a lot. That’s my every day car."

"Her dad was like, 'give her whatever she wants,'" Wright said of her ex-husband. "I’m big on budgets. We ended up pulling it off."

The bash, held in November at a venue in Atlanta, featured celebrity guests and special performances. A party this fabulous had to be shared with the world, and it premieres on MTV's "Super Sweet 16" at 7 p.m. Monday Feb. 16.

Keep an eye out for Kandi Burruss, Fantasia Barrino, T.I. and Tiny, Tamar Braxton and Keshia Knight Pulliam, among others.

Reginae is a homeschooled 10th grader. Her mom splits her time between New Orleans and metro Atlanta. Look for her Smyrna boutique, Garb, during the episode.

With such an extravaganza to stage, there was some drama leading up to the party, but everyone had a great time.

"I had an amazing night," Reginae said.

We asked what non-purchased gifts she has to thank her parents for.

"The best thing I inherited from my mother was the way she raised me to be humble and grounded," she said. "With my father I’ll say his work ethic. I’ll go from singing to acting - I just like to do a lot of things. That’s what my father likes to do. It’s never enough."

Then she added, "I get my style from my mom!"
