Family matriarch "Mama" June Shannon, who has parted ways with Mike "Sugar Bear" Shannon romantically, posted the news on her public Facebook page. She and most of her girls including former beauty pageant queen Alana HBB Shannon now live in Hampton. Daughter Jessica remains in McIntyre to complete her senior year of high school.
Daughter "Pumpkin" (Lauryn) continues recovering from injuries she received in a car accident and will be homeschooled. Daughter Anna, the victim of Mama June's alleged paramour, has struck out on her own.
June says she and Sugar Bear remain civil and he'll continue to see the girls (Alana is his biological child but he was a father figure to the others).
The family's reality show career came to a halt amid revelations June was dating a convicted child molester, a claim she denied. A spate of other televised appearances, such as a visit with Dr. Phil, didn't help.
But, June remains positive moving forward. Here's the entire message:
Well this well b the last pic as a family at 100 pine circle mcintrye ga as me and the girls move to hampton 100% but right now sugarbear and his brother (not lee) will b staying in mcintrye in another house they rented yes we r being civil and have agreed to that he will c alana and the girls in hampton every weekend we have had some AWESOME times and MEET ppl we wouldn't have meet in our life other wise famous or not .... the fans we have meet thanks for coming to visit and thanks to all of u for our support we have some BIG things coming up this yr but cant announce just yet but will when we can and b4 anyone says anything yes jessica will b staying in mcintrye to finish her senior out as she wants to graduates with her friends she has known since 2nd grade but she will in hampton every weekend and every time they r on vacation at school it was a hard decision and im going to miss her dearly there is so many memories in this house we lived here 5 yrs and filmed for 2 and 1/2 of them we have had our ups and down alot of love alot of pranks this is where all the fame started this is where brought katilyn home too ... where we was able to help 100s of family with christmas for 5 yrs with the christmas display and 3 of them christmas we had help from fans and we appreciate that very much we will still b doing things for the community starting in hampton as I have been in touch some ppl but at the end of the day it's about making memories and now it's time to make new memories back in my hometown and see what new adventures life will provide for us....we appreciate all the support and love from fans u can still send fan mail to po box 72 McIntyre ga 31054 right now as I will get it once a wk from jessica ..thanks for sharing this awesome journey with us there us more to come ....
