Donald Trump had lots of love for Harrison Ford in a recent New York Times piece, saying he's a fan "not just because he rents my properties. He stood up for America."

The presidential hopeful was discussing Ford's presidential performance in "Air Force One," in which he plays a powerful POTUS who thwarts terrorists. Ford isn't exactly returning Trump's hearts and flowers.

"It was a movie," Ford deadpanned into the camera during an NBC interview to promote "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." "It's not like that in real life. But .. how would you know?"
