Cannabidiol -- also known as CBD -- is a molecule found in cannabis. A recently passed bill legalized industrial hemp nationwide, including the hemp plants that are used to produce CBD oil.

Big Sky Buckhead. The restaurant and bar features a CBD Green Fairy on its menu, made with Absente Absinthe, lemon, aquafaba, hopped-grapefruit bitters and a CBD tincture. Adam Berlin, co-owner of Big Sky, said he came up with the drink after the overwhelming response to Sweetwater's new G13 CBD beer. Speaking of which...

Sweetwater Brewing Company. The Atlanta brewery's 420 Strain G13 IPA uses "strain specific terpenes and proprietary hemp flavor, creating an olfactory experience that mimics the G13 cannabis strain." The beer is available on draft at the brewery and a limited number of beer bars around metro Atlanta, as well as in bottles.

Golda Kombucha. Golda's newly-released Grapefruit Rosemary Kombucha infused with CBD claims to act as an anti-inflammatory product "while treating chronic pain, anxiety and other therapeutic properties." The drink is available at Golda's Westside tasting room Cultured South and will be available in retail stores down the road.

Sweet Auburn BBQ. The Virginia-Highland restaurant's fall cocktail menu includes The Jeffery, made with Cinnamon Old Tom Gin, Amaro Montenegro, Pamplemousse, Mint Syrup, Lemon and Peach with the option to dose it with CBD oil for $9.
