The Tap on Ponce, a new beverage store in Ponce City Market offering beer, wine and specialty foods, celebrates its official grand opening beginning at 11 a.m. today and continuing through Sunday, with an impressive list of rare and special beer releases over the weekend.
The setup features 56 taps, with draft fills in growlers and crowlers of various sizes, from 16 to 64 ounces. New and seasonal beer and wine selections are offered weekly. And customers can choose to purchase beverages to-go or to drink in the Ponce City Market Food Hall.
"The world of craft beer has grown much larger, and The Tap on Ponce is here for people who’ve grown with it,” Tom Repp, The Tap’s general manager said in a press release. “You’ll find choices usually only available in a brewery or a bar. Our staff is always ready to talk about beer and wine, and we love recommending something new based on what you already like."
