A location of the barbecue restaurant from the team behind local Mexican eatery La Fonda and pizzeria Fellini’s has closed.

The Greater Good BBQ closed last week at 2358 Hosea Williams Drive in the Hosea + 2nd development, the Atlanta Business Chronicle first reported and an employee at the Buckhead location confirmed to the AJC.

Greater Good locations in Tucker on Hugh Howell Road and on Roswell Road in Buckhead remain open. A counter service-only Greater Good that opened on Howell Mill Road in West Midtown in 2018 has since closed.

The restaurant describes its culinary style as “BBQ Southern”.

"We incorporate aspects of Memphis, North and South Carolina, and Texas," pitmaster-co-owner Bill Wrench told the AJC earlier this year.

Greater Good is the second closure at the Hosea + 2nd development. Mary Hoopa's House of Fried Chicken and Oysters shuttered early this year and was recently replaced by Salaryman. Other businesses in the development include Poor Hendrix and Mix'd Up Burgers, with Perc Coffee Roasters set to open next year.
