In the wake of the Atlanta Falcons heartbreaking loss in last night's Super Bowl, a former player is giving people -- and dogs -- something to rise up for.
Former Falcon Garrett Reynolds and his business partner Stephen Ochs have released the first renderings of Fetch, the restaurant and dog park bar concept they're bringing to Old Fourth Ward this fall.
The renderings offer a look at the three elements of the business, situated on the 1.27-acre lot located at 520 Daniel St. in Atlanta. In Fetch Park, the on-site dog park, a converted Airstream trailer featuring a full bar and outdoor TVs will serve beer, wine and cocktails to park visitors. The main building, Fetch Ice House, will house a restaurant and bar in an open-air, rustic setting with plenty of outdoor seating. A shipping container transformed into a full-service bar with TVs and a rooftop lounge serves as the centerpiece of the property.
Fetch will offer wi-fi throughout the restaurant and park area, a dog wash station and a membership option for dog owners.
Ochs and Reynolds hope to partner with local businesses, dog shelters and non-profits to raise money and awareness for local charities and organizations.
