Restaurant openings and closings:

A companion restaurant to West Cobb Diner is expected to open in downtown Austell in March , according to Austell Mayor Joe Jerkins. South Cobb Diner will be located at 5850 Love St. Known for such Southern dishes as tomato pie, West Cobb Diner is located at 3451 Ernest Barrett Parkway in Marietta.
