Several months after first announcing its intention to open its second metro Atlanta location , Shake Shack is ready to open its doors at 11 a.m. today at Perimeter Mall.
In addition to the typical Shake Shack menu featuring burgers, fries, shakes, fried chicken sandwiches and hot dogs, the Perimeter spot will also feature a location-specific Peach Twist, a frozen custard concrete made with vanilla custard, local Preserving Place hot peach and ginger jam and H&F Bread Co. cinnamon sugar twist. Five percent of the sale of each Peach Twist will go to Kate's Club, a nonprofit that helps children and teens after the death of a parent or sibling.
Beverages options will include local craft beers from Jekll Brewing, Monday Night Brewing, Red Hare Brewing, SweetWater Brewery and Wild Heaven Craft Beers, in addition to ShackMeister Ale from Brooklyn Brewery. White and red wines from Frog's Leap Winery are also on the menu.
The Perimeter location faces out onto Ashford Dunwoody Road.
The first Atlanta Shake Shack location opened at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta in 2014.
