An Atlantic Station tenant has closed its doors after more than a decade.
Rosa Mexicano's last night of service was on Christmas Eve, and the restaurant posted a sign on its door alerting patrons to the closure:

The restaurant, which opened in 2006 at 245 18th St. NW, was the chain's first southern location and the only one in Georgia. Rosa's also has locations in several cities including Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington D.C. The chain was established in 1984 in New York.
Rosa's served Mexican staples including guacamole, tacos and fajitas as well as a variety of margaritas.
This is the latest in a string of changes in Atlantic Station's eateries this year -- Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro closed its doors in January to be replaced by Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ , and Moe's Southwest Grill was replaced by salad concept Salata.
Nick Garzia, director of leasing for real estate and development giant Hines, which acquired the retail core of Atlantic Station in 2015 along with an investment company, said in a statement, "We are surprised by Rosa Mexicano's decision to close their Atlantic Station restaurant. Our thoughts are with their local staff who have lost their jobs."
The AJC has reached out to Rosa Mexicano for comment and more details on the closure.
