Four new food and beverage concepts are coming to the south tower of the Omni Hotel at CNN Center as part of the hotel's lobby renovation project. The renovation of the Omni's satellite tower across the street from the CNN Center will include a full-service sports bar, a restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, a lobby bar and a coffee shop. The hotel plans to reopen the lobby this spring, although an opening date as not been announced.
Among, the hotel’s forthcoming food and drink concepts, New South Kitchen will serve breakfast and lunch with a focus on new southern comfort food, including a breakfast buffet with build-your-own shrimp and grits and modern versions of sweet tea fried chicken and smothered pork chops.
Vues Bar, named for its unobstructed views of Centennial Olympic Park, is meant to serve as the hotel’s central gathering spot. The beverage menu will be highlighted by an extensive bourbon list, and the food menu will include light bites featuring global flavors.
Top Draft Sports Lounge will take advantage of the hotel’s location adjacent to State Farm Arena and just steps away from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The sports bar will have a large draft beer program and a food menu of “elevated bar fare,” including butter-poached lobster fries.
Centennial Grounds will be a gourmet coffee bar that also serves pastries, sandwiches, ice cream and even wine to go. Made-to-order options will include coffee drinks and fresh fruit smoothies.
